BIG FOUR US firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) will pay $24 million to free from doubt a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) fraud probe stemming from Warnaco Group's 1998 financial reporting practices.

Former Warnaco auditor PwC was charged by the agency of the SEC with "aiding and abetting Warnaco's reporting violations in the 1998 annual report".
